Peace Foundation is non profit organization and certified by Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP) Islamabad. Peace Foundation has Consultative status with UN ECOSOC and member of Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM). Peace Foundation focuses on Peace building, interfaith harmony, Sexual and Reproductive Health ,basic health rights of minority women and young people. We are working with national and international organization to promote Sexual and reproductive justice. PF has implemented 05 donor funded projects : Amplify Change U.K, International Planned Parenthood Fund (IPPF), Safe Abortion Action Fund (SAAF) UK, Mundo Cooperanent Spain, and Basic Education Community School. PF has mainly worked on child-mother healthcare, family planning, reproductive health & disaster risk reduction. Funding for these projects has been provided by Women Deliver USA, Strengthening Participatory Organization, Stichting Overal - The Netherlands, Global Fund For Women - USA, Women on Waves - The Netherlands, Women on Web - The Netherlands. Peace Foundation has 8 years experience for running helplines for safe medical abortion and family planning education in Sindh, Sirakai and Urdu languages. Peace foundation is empowering the deprived communities especially focused on health & hygiene, women empowerment, basic rights, education, WASH emergencies & relief and capacity building. Peace Foundation has 8 years experience of PF has 42 basic education community schools in 2 Districts 25 Umerkot and 17 Tharparker with the support of Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Trainings. Especially focused on women and girls health and social accountability tools for the improvement in sexual reproductive health rights (SRHR) in Government hospitals supported by AmplifyChange UK. Also focusing on reducing un-safe abortion in rural areas of Sindh Province supported by International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) with Safe Abortion Action Fund (SAAF) UK. Peace Foundation is working with Mundo Cooperanant Spain for family planning education and para legal education of early married couples in desert area of Sindh.
